Roots to Bloom Preschool

Our first day of school is the Tuesday following Labor Day.
We follow Portland Public Schools' Holiday and Winter/Spring Break calendar.
There are three teacher planning days a year, one in October, April and July for planning and ongoing education.
In the summer months we have two breaks that coincide with holidays.

We follow PPS inclement weather closures.

(This daily flow is more of a guide, we honor the children's needs.)

8:00-9:00 - Arrival and free play

9:00 - Snack offered

9:30 - Gathering/Circle Time (check in, songs, sharing, helper chart)

10:00 - Choice time, studio art, projects, outside

11:00 - Clean up and story time (music class 3-4 times a month)

11:30 - Lunch

12:00 - Outside play or movement

12:30 - Goodbye to morning friends

1:15 - Quiet time (rest/nap/journaling)

2:30 - Snack offered

3:00-4:50 - Choice time, games, outside play, goodbye

5:00 - School closed
